Most of us agrees that Jesus Christ actually existed and walked the earth some 2000 years ago. However many had their own definition of who He really is to them. Many (religious and non religious) believe He was a prophet, a good man, and also a great moral teacher. But, in the Bible we discover that Jesus Christ was far more than a good man, prophet, or teacher. The bible tells us that Jesus is God, He could proclaim, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
The most talked, argued over, researched, debated over is surely Christ on the cross and what makes it more special is the RESURRECTION Halleluiah…………..
Can someone clap with me in joy…………….
I once heard David Pawson preaching’s stating even successful lawyers went on to do their own personal research to prove His non-existence or existence, death, resurrection and they fail to conclude………
Why did God then take on a human form in the person of Jesus Christ?
God is Holy and only Him is righteous. God is the perfect, holy and just creator of the universe and He created us for His glory and own purpose. Who is going to dispute that?
Man has fallen into sin back to Adam and Eve. An eternal God cannot stand sin thus penalty became death as a result of sin.
Only God could cleanse us from the sins. God became a human being, in the person of Jesus Christ, so He could die in our place, paying the full penalty for our sin, thus providing salvation to all who receive Him (John 1:12).
Hence we have a responsibility to live to serve and glorify the ONE who created us in the first place, the ONE who breathes in us.
That can only be described as a loving God who wants a relationship with His people, above all, He created us in His image, so I am thinking it makes sense to connect with His people, His children and there could be no better way of doing this except by sending His only Begotten Son Yeshua (Jesus Christ) as our saviour…………….
Jesus does not just save you but He transforms you………
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 NIV)
Jesus gave us the gospel. He did not merely preach the good news is coming but that the good news had come. The good news was not just something that was going to occur in the future (His death and resurrection) but the good news is that Christ came here and we now expecting His second Return !
Christ is alive and reigning right now as our King. Jesus has sent us as missionaries to proclaim the gospel.
Christ is continually changing us so that God becomes our source of ultimate joy. A deeper level of closeness and relationship with God. We might not fully understand or experience it here but we will surely discover it when we reside in Heaven.
